MAY 11, 2019 - The NJ Tech Council hosted its 22nd annual Venture Conference which showcases the region’s most promising companies and offers insights from many of the nation’s top investors. JUNE 23, 2019 - Together with the founder of King Children, Sahir Zaveri, we appeared at the iHeart Radio Studios in New York City to pitch and discuss Ribbit on the Passage to Profit podcast hosted by Elizabeth and Richard Gearhart.  

Ooma Pitch Competition at WeWork

SEPTEMBER 25, 2019 - Ooma, a VoIP company out of California, hosted a pitch competition at the Varick Street WeWork in New York City. The competition was quite unique in that each member in the audience received a virtual $10k to invest in the presenting company and at the end of the competition, the company with the most money won. Out of 10 companies we placed 3rd. 

Jersey City Team Cleanup

OCTOBER 12, 2019 - We hosted our first team event that involved walking the streets of Jersey City collecting trash - everything from cups, cans, straws, wrappers, plastic bags, plastic bottles, plastic utensils, styrofoam blocks, poop bags, and even things we couldn't identify (gross). In just 1.65 miles, we filled 12 large bags.

Liberty Science Center - After Dark

OCTOBER 17, 2019 - Liberty Science Center invited us to host a booth at their innovation station for their After Dark event. It was a great opportunity to show the creative and scientific audience of Liberty Science what Ribbit is all about!
